Ultrasound scanning is currently one of the best ways to manage the infectious and fatal lung disease ovine pulmonary adenocarcinoma (OPA).
By analysing images of lungs at least annually (transthoracic ultrasound scanning), vets find scanning these flocks a very useful tool for managing OPA through culling cases as early as possible.
This course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge which will enable you to perform a Transthoracic ultrasound check of the sheep lungs to detect OPA.
Please note, this course is open to registered veterinary surgeons only.
