During these challenging times, our IMV imaging Service team are still, as always, here to help you with your diagnostic imaging equipment.
We have a team of highly qualified Service Engineers, with expertise in the areas of hardware, software, electrical engineering and IT/ Networking. Their aim is to ensure that your imaging equipment is in optimal working condition to support you with your diagnostic imaging needs.
Our equipment is tough and reliable, but in the unlikely event of an emergency breakdown, our engineers are on hand to support you , when you need it most. IMV imaging engineers are trained to exceptional standards and we have an unrivalled range of loan equipment to minimise your downtime.
Our Service Centre is still open and we are fully available to carry out maintenance servicing on your equipment. Regular servicing by our team will ensure that your equipment is checked and serviced to high standards and any minor issues are resolved before they turn into more serious problems.
Our Remote Support Team have technology at their disposal which enables them to support our customers remotely to get them back up and running as quickly as possible. We offer 24/7 Out of Hours Remote Support for emergencies, so you can have peace of mind, no matter the time of day or night.

Sean Stevenson - Service Manager
"I have worked at IMV imaging since September 2009. As the IMV imaging Service Manager, I am responsible for ensuring that the UK Service Operation is working effectively and efficiently to ensure our customers are kept up and running. I work with suppliers who provide our 3rd party equipment as well as with customers to ensure we are meeting their needs. When I am not working, I enjoy travelling and getting out on my bike, seeing some of the sights Scotland has to offer.”
Graham Anderson - Senior Field Service Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in 2004. As a Senior Field Service Engineer, I provide maintenance and breakdown support for your ultrasound, X-ray and CT systems. It’s great to be part of a team who are dedicated to being there when you need us. Away from work, I spend time with my partner and family while also tinkering with projects and playing music.”
Benjamin Fitzpatrick - Field Service Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in March 2019 after relocating from Australia. I’m based in the south-east of England and support customers by carrying out preventative maintenance work on imaging equipment as well as responding to breakdowns and helping with larger equipment installs. Having a bachelor’s degree in engineering, I enjoy helping customers by ensuring their equipment is kept up and running as well as finding solutions to any issues that may occur throughout it’s lifetime. I focus on continually developing and learning new skills to be able to support our customers even more. Outside of work I get involved in board sports as often as I can."
Andy Thurbon - Field Service Engineer
“I have worked with IMV Imaging since January 2017 and carry out PMA preventative maintenance to keep your imaging equipment in perfect shape. I bring nearly 30 years’ experience in various electrical and electronic industries and have always enjoyed the customer facing nature of my role meeting lots of interesting people. Outside of work I like to spend time with my family, travelling, going to music concerts and walking my crazy sprocker Frank.”
Peter Walton - Field Service Engineer
"I joined IMV Imaging in September 2015. I am based in the central region of the UK and provide field service support for ultrasound and X-ray imaging equipment. As a highly experienced electrical and electronics engineer, I bring a wealth of experience, having specialized in diagnostic imaging. I am married with two children and enjoy most sports, particularly football, skiing, cycling and the occasional round of golf."
Steve Jackson - Field Service Engineer
“I have worked for IMV imaging since 2012 as a Field Service Engineer. My role involves the servicing, maintenance and repair of X-ray, ultrasound, CT and PACs systems. I have over 40 years’ experience in servicing of a variety of medical and monitoring systems within the NHS and Scottish Government.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, looking after my fish and walking my two dogs.”
Chris Fraser - Lead IT Service Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in 2015 and I help our customers by leading our I.T. Service team to ensure we offer the best support to them. My passion is helping others achieve and learn new skills they never thought possible. I manage the Out of Hours 24/7 Emergency Remote Support and provide expert applications support for all things PACS/ Image Management Systems as well as being technical lead on new products for the business.
Whilst I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, reading and learning new skills and going to walks in the sun or rain in the fresh air.”
Bryan Ross - IT Service Engineer T3
"I joined IMV in May 2018 as part of the I.T. Service team and I’m here to support our customers by providing remote & telephone support for CR / DR X-ray systems, PACS and networking issues as well as physically repairing systems in our service centre.
My focus is providing prompt and effective solutions for our customers so they can provide the best animal care possible. I am part of the out of hours emergency team, providing engineering support to our customers 24/7. I enjoy the work and do and I’m passionate about improving my knowledge and skills each day to provide the best support possible.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, trips to the cinema and spending time with my friends and family."
Thomas Hoey - IT Service Engineer Tier 1
“I joined IMV imaging March 2019 and I am here to support customers by providing remote service support for imaging equipment. I provide support on all CR X-ray systems and over the past year have built my competency in troubleshooting on DR X-ray equipment and PACS. I am also the first point of contact when any emergencies are passed through from our Customer Care team.
I enjoy working and learning from peers in the service department and will strive to continue to be an integral member of the service department.”
Jamie Menarry - Lead Service Engineer
“I have worked at IMV imaging for almost 10 years and I support customers by leading our in-house team of experienced engineers, who continue to work hard to get your imaging equipment serviced or repaired and back to you as soon as possible. I also provide specialist support on more complicated installs as well as dealing with any CT breakdowns, if they occur.
Out with work, I enjoy mountain biking and motorbiking and have a passion for the gym.”
Jamie McMullen - Service Engineer
"I have worked at IMV imaging since 2016 and I support our customers through the repairing and servicing of ultrasound and X-ray equipment that is sent to the UK Service Centre. I follow a process of assessing the equipment that is sent in, detailing repairs that are required and carrying out these repairs to return equipment in optimum working order quickly to customers. I also work with our 3rd party suppliers to further develop my expertise on the products, undergoing product training regularly. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my fiancée, family and friends."
Stuart MacDonald - Junior Service Engineer
“I recently joined IMV in 2019 and I am here to help you by providing high quality equipment servicing and repairs to your imaging equipment. I am able to provide service support for a range of equipment including ultrasound scanners and X-ray generators, both IMV imaging own products and products from our 3rd party suppliers such as GE and Mindray. I regularly support customers over the phone or via email in order to resolve any issues they have which range from breakdowns to user related problems and anything in between. The sense of accomplishment in helping customers and keeping them up and running is what I find the most satisfying part about my roles. In my free time I like to keep fit and go to the gym and spend time with my family and friends.”
Jack McDonald - Apprentice Service Engineer
"I have worked within the UK Service Centre since 2017 as an Apprentice Service Engineer. I work alongside the other Service Engineers to help our customers by servicing their ultrasound and X-ray systems. I carry out both routine servicing and repairs to the highest standard so that customers are back up and running as quickly as possible.
When I’m not at work, I like to go to the football with my friends and going to the gym."
John Harding - Service Manager (Ireland)
“I joined IMV imaging in April 2013 and my role at IMV imaging is the manager of the customer care and service departments in our Irish office in Gormanston, Co. Meath. I also help fulfil the service requirements of our ultrasound and X-ray systems by performing on-site repairs. When not at work I am busy with my wife and three young children where we enjoy GAA, zoos, wildlife parks, theme parks and Leg. Other than that I enjoy motorsports of all types."
Adrian Dragomir - Field Service (Ireland)
"I joined IMV imaging in 2019 as Field Service Engineer and I am here to help you with any repair or service of your imaging equipment.
Having more than five years’ experience in the medical field, I use my skills and background to provide the best customer service experience.
Out of work, I am a photographer, handmade creator, admin for three websites and I love to travel with my wife, exploring new places all over the world."
