Trained to service a variety of ultrasound machines, our engineers will go through a multipoint checklist, unique to each scanner to ensure we check all of the functionality, usability and performance criteria.

  • Performed initial inspection. 
  • Stripped down scanner and cleaned out all boards, vents and fan assemblies.
  • Checked casing
  • Checked LCD
  • Checked buttons and TGC operation
  • Checked I/O ports and probe connector
  • Checked and cleaned trackball assembly
  • Checked and secured handle fixings
  • Checked probe locking pins and connector pins
  • Checked probe cable assembly, probe head casing and probe face
  • Checked patient database by creating test patient, ensuring that images can be saved and exported
  • Checked spooler
  • Checked time & date
  • Checked imaging modes and probe pre-sets are switching
  • Performed test exam and checked image quality, exam save and export functions
  • Backed-up settings to both local HDD and a USB stick.
